Interstaff LLC is a global staffing company searching for a **qualified Abogado / Lawyer - Family Law - Remote** to work for one of our third-party clients.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
1. **Legal Document Preparation**: Draft, format, and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, pleadings, agreements, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.

2. **Discovery Management**: Assist attorneys in the discovery process by drafting and propounding discovery requests, responding to discovery requests, and managing document production and review.

3. **Client Communication**: Maintain regular communication with clients, updating them on case progress, and assisting in gathering necessary information and documents.

4. **Legal Research**: Conduct legal research and analysis to support attorneys in case preparation, including case law, statutes, and regulations related to family, estate, and property law.

5. **Translation Services**: Provide proficient legal translation services between English and Spanish for various legal documents, correspondence, and communication, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal terminology.

6. **Case Management**: Organize and manage case files, documents, and deadlines, ensuring that all legal deadlines are met in a timely manner.

7. **Court Filings**: Prepare and file legal documents with the appropriate courts, ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures.

8. **Confidentiality**: Ensure the confidentiality and security of client information and sensitive documents.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent or 4+ years in legal studies or a related field.
- Paralegal certification or law degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a paralegal or abogado / lawyer, with a background in family law, estate planning, and property law.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with exceptional translation skills in both languages.
- Proficiency in legal research, document management, and case management software - **MyCase knowledge preferred**.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and time management skill, as well as attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per month
