Role Objective Monitor line performance: Safety, quality, compliance, productivity, production schedule, cost and customer satisfaction goals within our manufacturing facility. Actively involved in real-time problem resolution, evaluates progress, and results and determines improvements that may be needed in operating procedures or objectives. Leader will be full supportive about Lean manufacturing. General Responsibilities- Responsible for ensuring safety throughout the production process- Creating, communicating and maintaining a quality culture thru metrics like FPY & DPU, be supportive in problem solving investigations- Develop and execute sustained Continuous Improvement processes- Line optimization thru lean tools like Yamazumis, Std Work Combination Sheet & Takt Attainment- Evaluate performance objective and metrics to determine productivity desired- Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly production plan follow up Specific Tasks- Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Dialogues, Observations and safety concerns- 100% attendance at EHS meetings- No pending production reworks (NCMR) > 15 days- 10% DPU Reduction yoy- Daily execution of takt time production & shipments plan at GEMBA meetings & 98% Production Plan Accuracy- Monitor OT & line bottle necks in order to achieve 90% of efficiency at lines- Develop & Follow up training strategy in order to improve the team performance- Define & measure the lines optimization thru lean tools- Cost Out projects implementation to meet Variable Labor and VCP targets. **Requirements**: - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production/Manufacturing- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing- Fluent English- Knowledge in Green Belt Six Sigma / Power BI / ERP- Integrity- Excellent customer service skills- Sense of urgency & teamwork- Data analysis- Leadership skills Desirable- Knowledge of ISO / APICS, EHS, Quality, Ergonomics, VSM, Logistics / Supply Chain- Data analysis, programming in Excel and Access- Communication skills- Organizational and planning skills- Presentation skills- Multitasker- Creativity- Work under pressure- Decision making skills Wabtec Corporation is committed to taking on the world’s toughest challenges.
