**Descripción y Requisitos**

Job Summary: Strategic sourcing provides leadership for strategic sourcing
- qualified supply network, business continuity, supplier risk management, logistics, contract management, supplier commercial negotiations, cost/spend management -supplier on boarding/off boarding, and resource management decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers.
- Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company.
- Obtaining quotes from different suppliers.
- Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation.
- Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
- Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes.
- Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing.
- Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimum outcome.
- Develop new sources, facilitate onboarding, and maintain supplier base sufficiency.
- Interact closely with buyers to resolve quality issues.
- Recommend cost savings proposals and generate savings per target.
- Coordinate sample validations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in administration, logistics, supply chain or related field.
- 5 years of experience with Strategic sourcing
- Bilingual English-Spanish.
- Knowledge and experience in sourcing materials and services.
- Must have working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in any ERP systems.
- Problem resolution skills i.e. root-cause analysis, problem definition, action follow-up.
- Good analytical skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Availability to travel.
