IT Operations Analyst I

TE Connectivity’s IT Operations Teams support hardware installation and configuration and ongoing maintenance of the computer/data center. They monitor batch schedules and take actions as necessary in response to schedule problems or abnormal program terminations and manage tape backups, including physical tape handling; coordinate, diagnose and troubleshoot employee issues with personal computers and related systems; provide support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access. TE’s IT Operations Teams provide timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel. They develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to remote IT support. At times they may monitor and troubleshoot equipment and assist with logging and documentation, cabling, racking, and server installations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Technical Support: Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network problems.
- System Maintenance: Assisting the network/server team ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.
- Troubleshooting: Assisting, in identifying and resolving technical issues related to software, hardware, and network.
- Installation and Configuration: Installing and configuring hardware and software components.
- Documentation: Documenting IT procedures and troubleshooting steps.
- Project Support: Assisting with IT projects, including research, analysis, and testing.
- Staying Up to Date: Keeping abreast of the latest IT trends and technologies.
- Compliance and Security: Comply and understand the standard TEIS Policy (TEC-06-88 Global Information Technology Policy)
- Asset management: Maintain IT asset inventory

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer Service: Ability to interact effectively with users and provide excellent support.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and identify solutions.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability: Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing situations.
- Languages (Latin America): Fluent in written English, intermediate in oral

**Education and Experience**:

- Education: Associates degree in Computer Technology
- Experience:1-2 years of work experience in IT related field
- Experience in manufacturing companies desired
