Senior Application Support Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated **Senior Application Support Engineer**to join our dynamic team.

**Responsibilities**
- Participate in Major Incident Handling bridge calls and provide updates to stakeholders
- Prepare operational documentation, incident reports, and knowledge base articles for recurring issues
- Proactively monitor system health and recommend performance improvements
- Offer technical expertise in SQL, Unix, and scripting for troubleshooting activities
- Flexibly adapt to rotational shifts, including weekends or public holidays (compensated within the month)

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in SQL, Unix, and scripting with an ability to read and understand logs and scripts
- Capability to troubleshoot complex issues and think out of the box for innovative solutions
- Experience working with Linux command line for hands-on troubleshooting and operations
- Understanding of any cloud platforms such as Azure, with a preference for practical experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical mindset
- Background in system monitoring tools like New Relic or similar solutions
- Practical familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow for ticket management
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and WAF
- Flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Availability to work morning and evening shifts as required
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, with a minimum competency level of B2

**Nice to have**
- Ability to read and understand source code in any programming language
- Competency in incident management practices and frameworks
- Familiarity with extended IT infrastructure including cloud service providers and performance monitoring
