**BAT MEXICO IS LOOKING FOR A NETWORK OPERATIONS SENIOR MANAGER** **JOB TITLE: NETWORK OPERATIONS SENIOR MANAGER** **FUNCTION: DIGITAL BUSINESS SOLUTIONS** **CITY & COUNTRY: MONTERREY, MEXICO** **ROLE SUMMARY** **What are the key objectives and expectations from this role.** The role is accountable for delivery of defined success measurement covering all services within the function scope. Ensure service availability, latency, performance, efficiency, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning are within contracted levels. Build a bridge between development and service operations Building solutions to help Service Operations and the Business units Develops relationships with DRBU to assess their technology and support needs Offers innovative solutions that meet the business needs while remaining efficient. Maintains relationships with vendors and ensure service delivery performance Maintains familiarity with current and upcoming IT technology, services, and other developments Recommendations on appropriate IT strategies and best practices to implement to surmount challenges and achieve set objectives. **What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?** Solution design/delivery/operations for multiple components and processes within a system. The solutions/platforms have strategic importance to BAT and contribute to our ability to deliver business outcomes. **Reports to**:Cloud & DC SRE Lead **ACCOUNTABILITIES** - Responsible for managing services across pillars - Accountable for service line budget and review with finance business partner - Help to have a infrastructure in Cloud environment with collaboration with our partners - Serve as a primary point responsible for the overall health, performance, and capacity of our cloud infrastructure - Assist in the roll-out and deployment of new product features and installations to new cloud infrastructure our rapid iteration and constant growth. - Ensures fulfilment of services as per SLA, monitors and captures performance via service review - Work closely with development teams to ensure that platforms are crafted with "operability" in mind. - Function well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. - Escalation point and focus for any end market / global solution centre engagement activities. Participate in a 24x7 rotation for second and third-tier escalations - Supervise and provide input on practices and processes to own and drive the implementation of improvement strategies and plans - Manage new business demand and request - Manage Third Party Support partners to drive service operation - Engagement with Solution Architect to establish service roadmaps - Enforce to all BAT standards, governance, and compliance. - Involve in regulate expenditures, analyse variances, and conduct forecasts to identify requirements useful in preparing annual budgets. - A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks - Perform IT administration and management duties as part of plans for improving IT services. **EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE** **CRUCIAL** **Experience Required** Experience in large global organization using in-sourced and out-sourced IT services and a good solid grasp of the management of global services **Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required** - Good interpersonal communication skills, team member management and ability to work well in a diverse, team-focused environment with other Engineers, Product Managers, etc - Experience with the system in any cloud vendor like Azure and GCP - Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure in AWS cloud, eg. deployment and configuration. - Breadth of knowledge of best practice IT Service Management (ITIL) - Knowledge in the organization’ services provider and customers/users - A good understanding of the organization’s business and how IT contributes to it **Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required** - Degree Educated, 3-5 years post graduate work experience in an IT Services environment and /or business facing IT role. **BENEFICIAL** - Exposure on AGILE, DevSecOps, Automation is added advantage - Cloud certification
