As an Implementation Consultant you will be provided with exciting opportunities to interface with customers & internal teams while supporting global corporations. Through this experience you will gain a greater understanding and appreciation for how corporations are being run in today’s markets.

Within this program we offer extensive training, mentoring, and guidance to start you on the path to a successful career in consulting at Thomson Reuters. You will be trained in best practices, methodologies, and gain the technical and functional skills required to participate in enterprise software projects focused on supporting Global Trade, Compliance and Tax departments. These projects include implementation of enterprise software, content and services to our customers. You will also be exposed to the ONESOURCE platform and all services provided across our Corporates business.

As a member of the Professional Services team, you will strive to enable and simplify the work of Global Trade, Compliance and Tax professional in Corporations focusing on Indirect Tax and Global Trade.

**Summary of Position**:
The Implementation Consultant will work closely with Project Managers to implement Tax and Global Trade software at client sites in Global Implementations. This position is part of the Corporates Professional Services department. We deliver enterprise Global Trade, Compliance and software that provides critical information and software solutions to companies of all sizes.

**About the Role**

In this opportunity as a Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible to:

- **_ Client Interaction:_**_ Engage with Global Trade, Compliance, and Technology professionals in Fortune 500 clients._
- **_ Requirements Gathering:_**_ Lead sessions to gather requirements and formulate design/solution documentation._
- **_ Process Mapping:_**_ Translate client business processes and policies into our solutions._
- **_ Cross-Functional Collaboration:_**_ Work with internal teams, such as Product Management & Engineering, to deliver comprehensive solutions._
- **_ Implementation:_**_ Perform technical and functional tasks on medium to large projects._
- **_ Testing:_**_ Prepare and execute test scripts and test cases._
- **_ Problem-Solving:_**_ Explain system issues/problems and solutions to technical staff. _Foster solutions to attend to client’s needs._
- **_ Project Management:_**_ Lead low-complexity projects with limited supervision. Delegate tasks to ensure delivery of all project requirements._

**About You**

You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:

- **Experience**: 4+ years of relevant work experience.
- ** Industry Exposure**: Familiarity with Global Trade, Supply Chain Businesses, Indirect Tax, or Compliance processes. Experience working or integrating with third-party enterprise trade products (e.g., ONESOURCE Global Trade, Integration Point, Descartes, etc.)
- ** Process Analysis**: Experience with process analysis, design, and mapping.
- ** Technical Knowledge**: Proficiency in databases, SQL, and programming languages like C# and/or VB.NET.
- ** Testing**: Experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
- ** Travel**: Willingness to travel up to 10% for client site visits, project kick-offs, offsite training, and industry events.
- ** Communication**: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills for professional and concise information sharing.
- ** Teamwork**: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- ** Organization**: Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- ** Initiative**: Self-starter with creative problem-solving skills and motivation to drive innovation.
