**About the Role**
**Key Responsibilities**
**Strategic Alignment**
- Understand and embrace the business and IT strategic direction.
- Evaluate business needs and recommend solution options aligned with organizational goals.
**Business Analysis & Requirements**
- Conduct inquiries and gap analysis for new systems and logistics processes.
- Elicit, specify, and model business requirements using BRDs, FSDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and UI wireframes.
- Evaluate COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) solutions against business requirements.
**Stakeholder Engagement**
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, logistics teams, and leadership during solution evaluation and selection.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
**Project & Documentation Management**
- Oversee medium-to-large, complex logistics projects or multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation, including BRDs, FSDs, Test Plans, Test Cases, User Guides, and Traceability Matrices.
- Manage requirement changes, enhancements, and system updates.
- Perform peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to other BSAs.
**Quality Assurance & Testing**
- Develop test plans, write test cases, and perform system testing.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with logistics SMEs.
- Validate test results in collaboration with SQAs and developers.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business needs and add measurable value.
**Implementation & Support**
- Participate as a key member during system implementation and rollout.
- Develop and deliver training materials for end users.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex issues.
**Continuous Improvement & Compliance**
- Drive logistics process optimization through metrics, KPIs, and trend analysis.
- Ensure compliance with IT, security, and quality policies.
- Share best practices, knowledge, and improvements across the organization.
- Proactively investigate emerging technologies and logistics solutions.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- Proven experience as a **Business System Analyst**, preferably with specialization in **Logistics or Supply Chain**.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation systems (TMS).
- Hands-on experience with **requirements elicitation, documentation, testing, and UAT**.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to work across business and IT teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and urgency.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, Agile/Scrum preferred.
**Nice to Have**
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) focused on logistics modules.
- Certifications: CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile Business Analyst.
- Exposure to cloud-based logistics platforms.
