**This role**

The Regulatory Counsel Senior Manager is responsible for meeting evolving legal and regulatory standards in financial regulatory compliance, licensing, and engagement with regulatory authorities.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- More than 6 years of experience in the legal profession, with experience in financial regulatory compliance, financial law and obtaining regulatory licenses, in technology and financial companies,fintech is a plus.
- Previous experience working in Technology Companies.

**Responsibilities**:
- ** Product & Payments Compliance**:Ensure financial products comply with local and international regulations. Work with Product and Engineering to design compliant but frictionless offerings. Monitor evolving regulatory changes affecting the business model.
- ** Regulatory Engagement & Advocacy**:Serve as primary/secondary liaison with local financial regulators. Participate or sub in policy discussions, industry working groups, and lobbying efforts. Prepare regulatory reports and respond to regulatory inquiries.
- ** Risk & Compliance Oversight**:Conduct regulatory risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies. Help align business operations with financial services regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with consumer protection laws and market conduct rules.
- ** Training & Internal Advisory**: Provide guidance on financial regulations, compliance frameworks, and best practices. Train internal teams on regulatory obligations affecting their roles.
