**OBJECTIVE**

The Sr. Buyer plays a role in ensuring the efficient sourcing and procurement of materials and services necessary for the organization's operations. This role involves strategizing, negotiating, and managing relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms and maintain quality standards. The Sr. Buyer oversees the entire procurement process, from identifying needs to supplier selection, contract negotiation, and inventory management**.**

**MAIN FUNCTIONS**:
1. Develops strategies to ensure the continuous and on time supply of required materials and services optimizing the total cost.

2. Collaborate with the department leaders to understand their requirements and align procurement activities.

3. Analyze the organization's procurement needs and develop strategic plans to fulfill them efficiently and cost-effectively.

4. Oversee the entire procurement process, including requisition processing, purchase order creation, and invoice verification.

5. Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and optimize inventory turnover.

6. Collaborate with production management teams to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.

7. Coordinates the contact with suppliers and the negotiation on costs conditions, delivery times.

8. Coordinates the evaluation process of suppliers according to prices, quality and efficiency regarding the acquisition time to maintain the constant production.

9. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and delivery performance.

10. Administrates the suppliers data base. (Contacts, Location, Terms, Products, Prices)

11. Responsible for selecting, training, developing, and motivating his/her staff.

**Requirements**:
Professional Degree

Experience more than 4 years. Experience in Purchase of Materials and Services.

Advanced english (must)

Has Knowledge on MRP, Inventory Control, Shipping and Customs.(desirable)
