**Profile**:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
- Language: Fluency in Spanish and English with the ability to develop communications plans in both languages.

**Experience, knowledge, and skills**:

- 3+ years of communications within a fast-growing startup or multi-national company.
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing.
- Customer Relations.
- Experience working with an agency of design, coordinating internal and external campaigns.
- Leading PR agency & coordinate events.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.
- Excellent communication, editing, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop) and video editing software is a plus. (What kind of programs or software is needed?)
- Experience building robust communications programs and delivering results.
- Excellent writing and verbal communications skills, with the ability to formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues and create a concise and well-written narrative.
- Must be aware of healthy lifestyles, environmental and social media conversations.
- Social Media savvy (must have and use social networks daily).
- Be up to date with innovative audiovisual content formats.
- Experience in developing or implementing community manager strategies.
- It would be highly appreciated if you have good contacts and reach to newspapers in Mexico to generate publicity for the company.
- Special interest and motivation for state-of-the-art technology, environmental and health care are valued.
- Live in Mexico City and surrounding areas.

**Functions (not limited to)**:

- Formulate PR plans and strategies.
- Enhance the company’s voice and presence through online and offline channels.
- Reach out to newspapers, magazines, websites, testimonials, foundations etc. for coverage.
- Conduct interviews with press, etc.
- Manage media relations and requests.
- Draft press releases and other PR copy.
- Plan and supervise events, fairs, conferences etc.
- Support the implementation of promotional plans.
- Support Marketing area in all social media activities in terms of tone of voice, what does the company want to communicate, etc.
- Support in identifying future partners like influencers, companies, foundations, etc. and plan a communication strategy with them.
