Chief Shopify Developer

We are looking for an experienced **Chief Shopify Developer**to join our team and take ownership of delivering high-quality e-commerce solutions.

In this role, you will lead efforts to customize Shopify themes, implement new features, and ensure the platform operates at peak performance. This position provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contribute innovative ideas, and stay ahead in the competitive e-commerce industry.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members on Shopify development strategies
- Customize and enhance Shopify themes to elevate user experience and align with brand objectives
- Develop and implement new features to improve functionality and streamline store operations
- Collaborate with designers to ensure seamless and visually appealing website designs
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and bugs within Shopify stores
- Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies to propose innovative improvements
- Optimize Shopify stores for better performance, faster load times, and effective SEO practices
- Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality development and foster knowledge sharing within the team

**Requirements**:

- At least 7 years of experience working as a Shopify Developer
- At least 2 years of experience in leading and managing development teams, with a proven ability to guide technical direction, enforce best practices, and deliver outstanding results
- Participation in at least two full-cycle projects or experience in multiple projects covering various phases of the development lifecycle
- In-depth expertise in customizing and building Shopify themes
- Strong understanding of web design principles and e-commerce best practices
- Advanced proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language
- Skilled in front-end development using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented, capable of working independently
- Strong English language skills (written and spoken) at a B2+ level or higher

- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum workflows and methodologies
