Operations Analyst

**The Operations Analyst is accountable for managing the end-to-end clearing and settlement process; ensuring smooth and timely market settlement of securities and cash transfers between the bank and its counterparty. This includes clearing and settlement through primary and secondary markets, or direct payment to clients and banks. **Also supports interfaces with different internal and external stakeholders (front office, clients, brokers, nostro agents, exchanges and clearing houses) involved in the clearing and settlement process chain, according to the market standards. The role is responsible for trade date to settlement date processes (pre-matching and confirmation, trade processing, cash transfer, instruction routing, depot and inventory management, funding and settlement monitoring) and post-settlement date processes (fails management).**

**Skills You’ll Need**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or equivalent experience.
- Experience (1-2 years) working in global markets operations within financial services
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be adaptive and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

**What You´ll Do**
- Daily reconciliation of trades, cash and positions
- Escalates potential risks and exposures to manager in a timely manner
- Supporting clearing and settlement processes across asset classes: Fixed Income, Derivatives and FX.
- Pre matching of trades and fails management for various markets
- EOD trade processing and reporting for various markets
- Working with different trading and support teams for daily operational issues
