**Job Description: Payroll Manager**
We are seeking a **Payroll Manager** to lead and oversee payroll operations for a fast-paced and dynamic organization. This role involves managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor and fiscal laws, and driving efficiency within the department.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and coordinate payroll department activities to ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of salaries and wages.
- Ensure compliance with legal, fiscal, and company policies in payroll operations.
- Supervise payroll calculations, including overtime, bonuses, and applicable deductions (taxes, IMSS, INFONAVIT, loans).
- Oversee processes for employee registration, promotions, salary adjustments, and other personnel changes in the payroll system.
- Ensure timely preparation of tax reports, profit-sharing calculations, and annual employee benefits like vacation and Christmas bonuses.
- Lead payroll payment processes, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.
- Develop, modify, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for payroll operations.
Experiência y requisitos
**Requirements**:
- ** Education**: CPA Degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting.
- ** Experience**:
- 5+ years in payroll or financial management roles.
- Experience with Mexican labor laws and tax compliance (ISPT, IMSS, INFONAVIT).
- Proven expertise in TRESS© Payroll Systems and advanced Excel proficiency, including macros.
- ** Language Proficiency**: Advanced English (spoken and written).
- ** Skills**:
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Analytical and goal-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
- ** Other Requirements**: Ability to adapt to evolving fiscal regulations through continuous training.
