- Prepare business analyses, including management reports, stock rotation, purchases and costs. Identifies and flags significant operational/financial variances and determines reasons for variances. Advises the management on possible improvements in the business.
- Monitors debtors and monitors/determines liquidity planning in cooperation with the Treasury Manager where appropriate. Ensures proper tax and treasury accounting where applicable, in cooperation with relevant managers.
- Manages the accounting and reporting (sub) department and provides operational leadership and training of its staff. Writes work instructions for staff in accordance with Nutreco's financial policies and procedures; when needed, help with daily activities; Ensures accounting and reporting managers are in place and followed through.
- Ensures systems and procedures comply with company policies, accounting and reporting strategy and accounting standards, and applicable rules and regulations. It closely follows all IFRS and Dutch GAAP developments and implements new or revised accounting policies and procedures if necessary. Responsible for the general control of financial administration, monitors compliance with guidelines and guides all administrative processes of the entity, in order to achieve full compliance with all relevant (financial) regulations.
- May be involved in major project accounting and reporting matters, within corporate guidelines, to achieve accounting and reporting objectives on these projects.
- Prepares (financial) audits, ensures that all relevant financial information is available to internal and external auditors

**Requirements**:

- Professional career completed in Accounting or related to the area
- Experience of 3 to 4 years in activities related to the area of accounting and finance; 1 to 2 years of experience leading teams
- Competencies: Leadership, Control and Follow-up, qualitative and quantitative analysis capacity, focus on results, problem solving
