Cost Improvement Packaging Engineer

**Your Role (responsibilities)**:

- Introduce innovative ideas for packaging standardization and optimization
- Run feasibility studies (capex, lead time, competitor price point, etc.).
- Provide Value chains with different scenarios to maximize package profitability.
- Lead the project phases from design development, supplier management, related investment to final package improvement projects
- Drive packaging optimization projects to enhance system profitability.
- Drive the packaging portfolio expansion across the scope of cluster
- Lead the packaging supplier’ developments and ensure to enhance the supply chain and meet the sales demand and moreover to secure the additional demands to meet the annual sales volume.
- Develop and authorize packaging suppliers based on their operational and technological capacities to ensure that the interests, strategic needs, confidentiality, new technology implementation, cost and quality requirements of the Company is always met.
- Determines packaging specifications according to the nature of the product, cost limitations, legal requirements, and the type of protection required.
- Documentation management of packaging specification and plan for every part.
- Definition and control of packaging budgets and forecast along with Finance.
- Define and execute Product/Process technical expertise including reviewing and ensuring adequacy of supplier part qualifications activities (i.e. validation including IQ, OQ, PQ activities).
- Asist in determining internal design qualification requirements and/or write technical rationales based on sound engineering principles.
- Perform Root Cause analysis for test failures and/or write technical rationales based on sound engineering principles.
- Manage all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing multidisciplinary teams and resources.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects and collaborating across the cluster

**Your back ground**
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Broad Packaging Skills: knowledge of Packaging materials and the related production processes.
- Engineering knowledge: knowledge of Equipment maintenance procedures & techniques to be able to evaluate associated cost & effectiveness.
- Manufacturing production processes comprehension
- Logistics and transportation processes awareness.

- Statistical Analysis Skills: Statistical knowledge to conduct meaningful equipment surveys and analyze data and trends

- Excellent organization, Planning, Computer skills, Technical writing, Communication and Presentation skills.
- Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Lean certification, DMAIC methodology preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain a trusted role with the various stakeholders in coordinating multiple functions across the organization
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Innovative, passionate and able to inspire people at all levels of the organization
