We’re looking for an Android Developer for an international startup. They provide a cloud-based freight and transportation management solution designed to help shipping third-party logistics, and carrier businesses streamline the entire supply chain lifecycle.
**Requirements**:
- Postsecondary education in Computer Science or related field
- **5+ years **of experience with Android Development
- **3+ years** of experience with Kotlin Development
- Expert in leveraging REST-based APIs
- Experience with **push notifications, location services**, and **Google Maps**:
- Experience with **Architecture Components, Navigation, Coroutines**, and **Retrofit**:
- Understanding of OOP, concurrency, and UI driven design principles
- Familiarity with mobile principles of good UX, UI, and design-centric thinking including Material Design
**Nice to have**:
- 2+ years of experience with Java Development
- 2+ years of experience managing and monitoring deploys on the Google Play Store
- 1+ years of experience building UIs with Jetpack Compose
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure quality throughout the mobile product and drive for perfection
- Own the entire development lifecycle, including development methodologies, thorough tracking, and quality of the final delivery (including production)
- Work with product, design, and go-to-market teams to deployment and development timelines
- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-facing experimentation
