Global Visualisation Solutions Director

**THE CAREER OPPORTUNITY**

In this role **you will lead the team that enables visualisations that help IT manage and lead IT across all AZ globally**. You will have **full autonomy to steer strategic** and day to day decisions across IT at the IT leadership and CIO level through to the technician level. **ABOUT THE ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY SERVICES TEAM**

The Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) team is accountable for all Infrastructure, Security, IT Operations and all End User Services and technologies. This group will ensure that our IT Services are seamless and secure, and that technology is delivered in an efficient, effective, and agile way, with a strong focus on experience.

**THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL DO**

The Ops Enablement function within the Workplace & Enterprise Services function is accountable for;
- The AZ Observability strategy, delivering Enterprise Management, Monitoring & Security Tooling and the definition and execution of an AIOps capability unlocking significant business benefit through a transformation in how Infrastructure Platforms and the Applications that are run on them are maintained Globally.
- Building and running a capability to enable colleagues to exploit our services focused on driving business value beyond availability and currency, supporting the Business aligned Technology Groups (BTG) groups through the creation of Centers for Enablement

The Visualisation Solutions Lead is:

- **
Ownership and accountability for delivering reporting & dashboarding **that supports rapid action and underpins our AIOps strategy to eradicate user and service interruption
- **

Accountable for ensuring **no avoidable incidents are experienced as a lack of appropriate reporting
- **
Manages our technology partners** effectively to ensure AZ is on the leading edge of technology innovation, both benefiting from and shaping our partners roadmaps
- **
Lead and continuously develop a strong technical team** building a function that drives differentiation in how we leverage, integrate and adopt visualisation technology
- **
Accountable **for Risk and Compliance across the services
- **
Be a key member of the Workplace and Enterprise Services - Ops Enablement Leadership Team** to ensure that the team continues to develop and grow and that strategies are aligned and executed effectively.

**YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE**
**Education, Qualifications, and Experience**
**Essential**
- Significant IT experience in Leading Global Services in an Information Services/Information Technology environment with good business acumen
- Proven experience of leading and growing reporting, dashboarding and visualisation teams
- Proven experience of developing and managing relationships with 3rd party suppliers
- Prior experience overseeing others, not necessarily as a manager
**Desirable**
- Experience working in the Biopharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry
- SDLC, Agile & Scrum methodologies
**Skills and Capabilities**
**Essential**
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language
- Expertise in data visualisation technologies such as PowerBI
- Expertise in systems management and monitoring
- Significant experience in leading global teams related to functional area, and demonstrate technical SME and proficiency to technically lead teams
**Desirable**
- Experience working in different countries/cultures.
- Confidence presenting to large internal and external audiences.
