**Your team responsibilities**

The MSCI ESG Business Involvement Screening Research (BISR) team maintains the data and content of the following MSCI ESG solutions: Business Involvement, Sanctions, Sustainable Impact Metrics, and SDG Alignment. BISR covers over 60,000 publicly listed companies globally identifying companies’ activities and business ties related to specific themes such as but not limited to alcohol, animal welfare, gambling, defense and weapons, country sanctions, or sustainable impact themes. The BISR Content team is responsible for monitoring the overall quality of the BISR data and driving improvements to client experience by performing content quality assurance, investigating data quality issues and formulating remediations and solutions, reviewing and enhancing methodology, and monitoring industry trends and developments.

**Your key responsibilities**

Other responsibilities may include:

- To the extent necessary in resolving client queries, conduct deep-dive reviews for companies’ business ties and assess revenues generated from such business activities using sources such as company websites, annual reports, sustainability reports, and other documents.
- Collaborate with a global team of research analysts to maintain the integrity of the methodologies.
- Participate in projects related to ESG quality and data transformation initiatives.

**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**

Skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in sustainability, business, finance, economics, or related degrees
- Background or working knowledge in the Financials sector
- Background on fixed-income research is an advantage
- Familiarity with ESG, sustainable finance, value-based or responsible investment principles
