**Your team responsibilities**The ESG Screening team maintains the data and content of the following MSCI ESG solutions: Business Involvement, Sanctions, Sustainable Impact Metrics, and SDG Alignment. The team is responsible for the accuracy and quality of the research and assessment into companies’ activities and business ties related to certain themes, such as but not limited to alcohol, animal welfare, gambling, defense and weapons, or sustainable impact activities, covering approximately 63,000 companies globally. The team leverages a variety of sources including company websites, annual reports, sustainability reports, third-party providers, investor presentations, news and media publications, government data, and other disclosures provided by the company itself or its associates. All the services are available for our employees free of charge.**Your key responsibilities**You will be responsible in owning, overseeing, and further improving data and content belonging to the Business Involvement dataset, particularly defenseOther responsibilities may include:- Conduct deep dive review for companies’ business ties using sources such as company websites, annual reports, sustainability reports, and other documents.- Analyze company disclosures to derive revenue estimates.- Collaborate with a global team of research analysts to maintain the integrity of the methodologies.- Participate in projects related to ESG quality and data transformation initiatives.**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**Bachelor's degree in sustainability, business, finance, economics, or related degrees. Familiarity withsustainable finance and/or responsible investment principles is a plus.
