Sr Technical Product Owner Specialist

What's the role?:
**The Team**:
HERE’s Product & Technology Content Publication team is responsible for building and publishing the most accurate, up-to-date map for self-driving cars, assisted driving functions, and enabling optimized route planning and fleet management capabilities for our customers. **The Role**:
As part of our Core Content Publication team, you will work on a scrum team of energetic and dedicated engineers to develop large scale, distributed processes to construct an HD Map used by autonomous vehicles to localize themselves and better understand the road ahead. You’ll be responsible for driving the success of our products through strategic planning and execution of product development initiatives. This involves being the interface between product management, customers, support, and the engineering teams to address requests and prioritize the work of an agile development team to maximize product value and feature impact.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to develop & execute the technical roadmap that is aligned with growth strategies and balances priorities, cost, schedule, & tradeoffs
- Turn high level business requirements into technical specifications & development stories in a collaborative manner
- Work closely with the development engineering team to ensure that products are developed and maintained to the highest standards
- Define and track product KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize features based on business value and customer impact
- Establish transparency around execution, risk, & issues
- Communicate product updates and releases to stakeholders and customers

Who are you?:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

- 5+ years of technical product management experience roles such as architect, product owner, or equivalent technical leader type roles.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of software development processes & system architecture
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
