Halo Publishing International is looking for an Assistant Publisher to operate effectively. We publish books in the United States and Mexico. Halo is dedicated to serving authors around the world and providing the highest level of professional publishing services. Our offices in USA and Mexico specialize in designing, producing, publishing, and marketing books for independent authors.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the sales team in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers
- Coordinate daily customer service (e.g. sales processes, orders and payments)
- Coach and support new authors
- Place and monitor book orders, costs and budgets
- Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs
- Create reports for the sales team
- Work on the book sales report, and send individual reports to each author
- Payroll dispersion
- Client’s account management
- Update the databases in different CRM programs
- Coordinate the editorial team

**Requirements**:

- You must prove you can read, write, speak and understand English
- Proven experience as a Assistant Manager or similar position (At least 4 years)
- Familiarity with financial and customer service principles
- Good math skills with the ability to create and analyze reports, spreadsheets and sales statistics
- Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Leadership and organizational abilities
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and able to multitask
- Problem-solving attitude
- BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
