**Purpose of the position**:
Effectively manage activities and maintenance personnel for a specific area, taking care of its development, business needs and serving the operation as the main client.

**Main Responsibilities**:
**Security**:

- Monitoring of safety guidelines, risk identification and Near Miss surveys.
- Ensure that your teams have the appropriate certifications before carrying out a job
- Authorize and validate work permits
- Walkthroughs of Safe Conduct and Closure of Security findings

**Quality**:

- Coordinate and carry out instrument maintenance and verification activities following good practices manufacturing and quality procedures.
- Keep your work area clean and tidy.
- Notify, report and attend to anomalies in the equipment detected.

**Productivity**:

- Ensures compliance with policies/procedures and activities of productivity standards.
- Manages personnel, materials, and equipment to meet performance goals.
- Track and analyze equipment and product failures and defects due to equipment failure
- Execute new technology in the operation.
- Controls the maintenance cost of the assigned area

**Leadership**:

- Listen, develop and encourage innovation, growth and improvement in their work teams.
- Identifies, recommends and implements maintenance cost reduction programs
- Make recommendations on operating and capital budgets.
- Contributes to the development of plans and strategies and contingencies for any introduction

**Education and experience**:

- Electrical engineering, mechatronics or related field
- 4 years of experience in similar activities.
- Statistical process control.
- English Language Domain by 80%.
- Mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of safety and industrial hygiene.
- System Management Systems, Applications & Products in Data Processing.
- Maintenance management (Total Productive Maintenance).
- Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electricity, Mechanics.
- Project control.
- Knowledge about reengineering.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of quality.
