**Career Area**:Human Resources**: To administer a variety of personnel related functions for hourly, salaried and management employees. **Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to**: - Primary contact point for questions and/or problems regarding policies, procedures and guidelines for hourly, salaried and management employees. - Receives, audits and data enters employee profiles into various systems and maintains employee history folders - Reviews skills required for temporary salaried openings as requested by management and coordinates employment requisitions. - Works closely with the Local HR to secure most qualified employee for opening. - Checks new hire documents for accuracy and appropriate compensation and benefits package and forwards information to applicable orientation facilitators. - Arranges for history folders, targeted selection interview guides and schedules interviews as requested. - Co-ordinates internal and external communications to achieve local Communication Department objectives. Liaise with local media to ensure that any opportunities within the facility are covered in the local media -mainly - Provides and presents information to "new" employees as part of induction program on Department function and facility communication methods - Prepares new facility HR start-up packets with needed forms, policy manuals and associate guidebooks. **Required Requirements**: - Bachelor Degree - 50% English (level, written and oral communication.) - 1+ year of experience in related position - Requires in-depth knowledge of personnel practices and a good understanding of various benefit delivery systems. - have good organization and personal computer skill, schedule flexibility and the ability to work with all levels of personnel. - Expected to make decisions and interpretations of company policies and practices. - A high degree of confidentiality must be maintained in this position. - Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department - Team Work - Ability to work with a minimum of direction - Proactive - Sense of urgency **Desired Requirements**: - Microsoft Office Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).
