MTA is looking for a Buyer to join the team. The Buyer based on standard operating policies, procedures and practices to procure raw materials, supplies, services, parts and equipment required in the operation of the business to ensure on-time delivery and optimizing pricing that is consistent with quality, quantity, delivery and terms.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Obtain quotes for materials included in project plans, drawings and material takeoffs.
- Identify and qualify potential new suppliers.
- Prepare daily purchase orders for acquisition of items with a goal of controlling cost, and vendor delivery, performance and product quality.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers for materials on all projects.
- Serve as liaison between company and suppliers regarding all changes in, or problems with material deliveries to meet project schedules.
- Schedule deliveries of materials to job sites while ensuring team members have appropriate materials, tools, personal protective equipment and inventory to complete project.
- Coordinate with superintendents and project managers to document timely supplier material returns toward the close of each project.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental requirements of materials and services.
- Work with accounting to resolve any PO/supplier payment issues.
- Preparing and maintaining cost reports in order to maximize efficiency and control costs within the business.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree (**pending/unfinished**) in Administration, commerce, finance or electric engineer.
- 6 months minimum as buyer with international purchasing experience.
- 80% English - Oral and Written.
- Strong organizational skills, resourceful, proactive and a fast learner
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products, Outlook and Google interface.
- Reliable, meets deadlines, and cooperate in accomplishing department goals and objectives.
- Produces work efficiently and accurately.
- Team player with strong communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail, organized and can effectively prioritize.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Agua Blanca, Jal.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
