*Directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. *Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply. *Plans and administers procedures and budgets, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. *Develops schedules and personnel requirements for assigned areas. *Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. *Works on issues of high scope where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors. *Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate actions. *Acts as advisor to team and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems. *Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which meet goals. *Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. *Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
Experiência y requisitos
*Bachelor Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Engineer u other Engineer degree. *Minimum of 2 years management experience in maquiladora background. *Knowledge and applicability of six sigma, lean manufacturing, 5’s. *Management and controls of production metrics. *SAP system desirable.
