The company specializes in advanced laser cutting, metal fabrication, and value-added engineering services, delivering high-quality solutions to a diverse range of industries.**Position Summary**:The Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for leading the engineering team and overseeing technical operations within a metal-focused manufacturing environment. This role requires approximately 10 years of engineering experience, including proven leadership or supervisory responsibilities. Design experience is considered a strong asset.**Key Responsibilities**:- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of engineers and technicians to ensure efficient project execution.- Manage engineering projects from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with production goals, timelines, and quality standards.- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including production, quality, and maintenance to resolve technical challenges.- Review and approve engineering documentation, drawings, and specifications.- Support design and development efforts for new or customized products.- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and internal procedures.- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, including supervisory or team leadership roles.- Strong background in metals and metalworking processes.- Proficiency in CAD software and engineering tools.- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.**Preferred**:- Hands-on design experience in a manufacturing setting.- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
