Lead Frontend Developer

We are looking for an experienced **Lead Frontend Developer**to join our team and play a key role in a groundbreaking e-commerce project.

**Responsibilities**
- Act as a technical leader and primary contributor in building a new e-commerce platform
- Drive the adoption and improvement of Engineering Excellence (EngX) practices to maintain high-quality standards
- Tackle integration challenges to ensure smooth collaboration between systems
- Work closely with a team of 10-15 developers to ensure expertise and team progress
- Participate in regular discussions with delivery managers and the development team to coordinate efforts
- Collaborate with a diverse cross-functional team of more than 20 members, including specialists and QA professionals, to ensure project success

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience in software development
- At least one year of experience in leading and managing development teams
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and React.js
- Practical experience with Next.js for frontend development
- Expertise in unit testing to guarantee code quality and reliability
- Understanding of digital experience (DE) and e-commerce systems
- Familiarity with Engineering Excellence (EngX) methodologies
- Hands-on experience working with MACH architectures (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless)
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS)
- Ability to build projects and teams from the ground up
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration
- Self-driven and proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities
- Flexibility to adapt to new tools, technologies, and workflows
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken) at a B2 level or higher

**Nice to have**
- Experience working with BigCommerce platforms
- Knowledge of advanced content platforms
- Familiarity with multiple e-commerce solutions
