**About Us**:
Latinas in Tech is a non-profit organization with the aim to create a tech industry where Latinas are well-represented throughout all levels of the ecosystem by empowering them to be innovators and leaders. Our mission is to provide the resources, opportunities and community Latinas need to thrive, innovate and lead in tech.

**Job Summary**:
Latinas in Tech is offering a paid internship opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Chapter Coordinator. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in program coordination and community engagement while supporting our mission to empower Latinas in the tech industry.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the coordination and execution of chapter events, workshops, and programs aimed at supporting and empowering Latinas in the tech community
- Work closely with chapter leaders and volunteers to facilitate communication, coordinate logistics, and ensure the successful implementation of chapter initiatives
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of new chapter members and volunteers, providing them with the necessary resources and support to actively participate in chapter activities.
- Help maintain accurate records and documentation related to chapter activities, including attendance, feedback, and member engagement.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and promotional strategies to raise awareness and promote chapter events and programs within the local community
- Collaborate with the communications team to create engaging content for social media channels and newsletters to keep chapter members informed and engaged.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides).
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
- Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tech industry, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the community.
- This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in program coordination and community engagement within a mission-driven organization dedicated to empowering Latinas in tech.
