- Responsibilities
- Responsible for compliance to Mexican and any other applicable pipeline regulatory codes and standards, and company policies and procedures;
- Supporting the development, planning, execution and compliance of pipeline integrity program for pipeline assets in Mexico;
- Supporting in-line inspection projects including outage coordination, GPS survey coordination and read and interpret inspection results;
- Assist with pipeline remediation projects including recoating and in-line inspection anomaly digs;
- Assist with inspection programs for river crossings and geotechnical hazards;
- Analyze options and make recommendations for remediation of operational or safety concerns at river crossings, areas of shallow cover, exposed pipe and ground instability;
- Contribute to on-site management of failure investigations including repair and restoration of service;
- Contribute to providing engineering support and Project Management relative to Pipeline integrity project Implementation.
- Develop project scopes and scope justifications for budgets, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance for the corrosion programs.
- Develop and coordinate as builds of engineering drawings with third party drafting companies;
- Gather and analyze data in support of planning: corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, mechanical damage, and geotechnical programs.
- Provide technical support to excavation programs, calculate safe excavation pressures and determine repair requirements.
- Participate in industry groups, committees and workshops;

Minimum Qualifications
- University degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering with 1 or more years of relevant Oil and Gas experience.;
- Professional registration by SEP (Cedula Profesional)
- Excellent English and Spanish interpersonal and communication skills and networking ability;
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills;
- Demonstrated skills in aligning goals with strategic direction and achieve targeted business results;
- Proven team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships.

- Availability to travel frequently in short / medium term business trips
