UT/UTCD Integrity Engineer

Overview PIPECARE Group is currently looking for UT/UTCD Integrity Engineer (Level 3) to join our team in Mexico. The selected candidate will work with project execution teams to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of in-line inspection results, with focus on custom-tailored reporting solutions to satisfy customer needs. This includes reviewing customer requirement specifications, processing in-line inspection data, analyzing and identifying pipeline features and anomalies, applying industry-accepted anomaly assessment criteria, ensuring the quality and accuracy of final results, and compiling results into concise, comprehensive reports for customers. Industry/sector Oil & Gas / In Line Inspection services Qualifications Certification in UT/UTCD technology (Level 3) Minimum 15 years of experience as UT/UTCD Integrity Engineer Minimum 4-year technical or engineering degree from an accredited university (experience in analysis of in-line inspection data may be considered in lieu of education on a case-by-case basis) Prior certification as ILI PQ LIII Integrity Engineer in UTWM, UTCD, EMAT, or ability to become certified Proficiency in English, both verbal and written Ability to learn proprietary software platforms; proficiency in Microsoft-based applications Solution-oriented attitude; hands-on approach; disciplined; team player; self-motivated Responsibilities Check and approve tool performance during the PTT Check data quality of ILI runs UTWM Data Analysis UTCD Data Analysis EMAT Data Analysis Check and implement dig verification tasks at sites and prepare relevant reports Review software inter phase and user manuals Prepare/Review DAD quality documentation Ensure accurate tool sensitivity values are provided to TM in Tool Checklist Prepare specific Run assessment reports Identify obstructions in the pipeline and produce technically valid Preliminary / Final reports Inform HO-DAD about results and implement results into reports Ensure coordinates are synchronized with data Alert R&D regarding software problems Update documentation and standard quality procedures Alert DA Team Leader / DA Manager regarding software problems Execute other tasks as requested by DA Team Leader or DA Manager and/or Executive Team within the assigned job role Job requirements Ability to work for extended periods in front of computers Ability to pass vision acuity and color differentiation examinations Business travel may be required for internal training, meetings, site visits, and customer meetings; international travel may be required Ability to work flexible hours based on business and project needs Ability to work independently or within a team to ensure project success Physical and Mental Requirements Lift and carry up to 50 pounds Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including refinery or plant environments and access elevated platforms Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing to communicate effectively Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively Must be able to wear safety equipment as required Sufficient mobility and reflexes to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations About PIPECARE Group PIPECARE Group offers comprehensive In-Line Inspection Services to identify and size pipeline threats, utilizing technologies such as Magnetic Flux Leakage, Transverse Field Inspection, Ultrasound, and specialized tools to ensure precise detection and assessment of pipeline anomalies.
