We’re looking for an energetic, data-driven Pricing and Analytics Intern to develop a revenue forecasting and occupancy model as well as standardize our reporting and highlight revenue and occupancy trends. The role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who wishes to develop a career in pricing, revenue management, data analytics, or forecasting.
We’re hoping you will be excited by numbers and by analyzing data to highlight trends and make recommendations to improve our revenue.
Pricing and Analytics Intern Job Responsibilities:
Develop a monthly forecasting and occupancy model to help our revenue management team decide the best pricing approaches
Develop a reporting suite that easily tracks our competitors and benchmarks
Work with our Director of Product and Revenue to review historical booking trends to help assess new opportunities to capture revenue or occupancy
Work closely with our Director of Product and Revenue on where investments in new products or services should be made and the estimated return on investments
Assist in the operations of our car rental business and assessing new cities to open in.
Duration, Hours, Benefits, Working Environment
We are a lively, busy office in Cuernavaca. We want you to learn and grow so we ask you to be in our office, this is not suitable for remote working.
We will provide you with full IT equipment to do your job plus training courses, so you’ll have certificates for your portfolio.
While we know you are here to learn, we want to support you so will be providing a lunch and transport allowance.
You can pick your schedule from the below options
Monday to Friday: 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm
2 breaks a day and a lunch break
Duration of Internship
Min 2 months with an option to extend
Longer-term opportunity to work part-time, with salary per hour during term time

Pricing and Analytics Intern Qualifications / Skills:
A passion for data and reporting with good excel skills
Awareness of pricing/revenue management discipline
Awareness of general economic and business strategy in travel, hospitality or consumer products
Experience in A/B testing whether in practice or the learning/understanding from a class at school (you’ll have lots of fun with us trying new ideas)
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Self-organized and able to collaborate with many cross-divisional partners
Comfortable working in Google drive (Sheets, Docs, Forms, etc.) and Excel
Applicants must be a current college student in good academic standing, enrolled in an accredited associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree program
Nice to have a strong grasp of pricing and revenue management and/or forecasting

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per month

COVID-19 considerations:
All customers are required to wear a mask, curbside pickup available, common surfaces are sanitized regularly, vaccination requirements, etc.
