Overview:
This role is responsible for the legal counseling and support of the Consumer Credit, Compliance, Procurement and Operational areas of the Company. As a Corporate Legal Supervisor, you will work in the drafting and negotiation of diverse contracts and will support the deployment of special projects of high legal impact for Mexico and Peru. In addition, it will be your responsibility to work along with the team in their development professional plan.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise the legal analysis and implementation of the regulation applicable to the Company in Mexico and Peru
- Address legal Company needs, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, preventing, mitigating and resolving contingencies
- Review, negotiate and prepare important agreements of the Company
- Participate in legal design and definition of Company´s products and services and its implementation Structure (credit/leasing products with or without guarantees)
- Provide legal advice to diverse areas in the company such as Customer Service, Collections, Sales & Insurance, Compliance, Consumer Credit, Leasing, Procurement and related
- Follow up and legal response for requirements issued by Authorities, such as CNBV, CONDUSEF, BANXICO, INAI, etc.
- Review and modify legal documents written in English, and communicate effectively (negotiate) in English
- Supervising the planning and organization, the workload related items, such as response time, pending items & diverse projects that could be assigned in the area

Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in Law (Master’s is a plus)
- At least 5 years of working experience within a legal corporate department (Financial/Automotive background is a plus, previous law firm experience is also a plus)
- Experience as a team leader or supervisor for at least 2+year
- Fluent English skills

Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of the current commerce regulation in force and basic understanding of financial / FINTECH legislation
- Basic financial literacy
- Structuring of credit products (loans with collaterals and or mortgages)
- Experience in data privacy and AML (AML Certification is a plus)
- Oriented to the professional development of the team (direct reports)
- Efficiency in tasks and project management
- Planning and Organization
