British American Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Corporate Intern in Monterrey

Your key responsibilities will include.
- Manage and coordinate the Contract Lifecycle Management tool, ensuring all contracts are onboarded, accessible and up to date.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts across various functions.
- Work with legal and business teams to ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and best practices.
- Act as a business partner between Legal and other business units, fostering effective communication and alignment on legal matters.
- Identify opportunities to streamline legal processes, reduce risks and enhance efficiency through creative legal solutions.
- Analyse laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide recommendations and insights that mitigate legal risks and promote compliance
- Maintain accurate and organized legal documentation
- Provide legal support and assistance to the legal team as needed, including preparing legal documents, presentations, and reports.

What are we looking for?
- Be student of Industrial Law, Business Administration, International business students, or any related careers.
- Desirable At least one year of experience in a Company or Legal Firm
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities and strong analytical, research and communication skills
- Understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and company secretarial
- Proactive and willing to have continuous development
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, DocuSign (desirable)
- Fluent English: written and speaking. (Advanced, is a must)
