Manufacturing Unit Manager
**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to deploy and lead the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams, with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will drive the local quality system through the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by coordinating the efforts of all necessary local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance and ensuring that the necessary certification requirements are met throughout the organization. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Services division in Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for: - Deploys and leads strategy, objectives and targets for Quality Management in line with the Quality Management System, Quality Policy and local strategy. - Influences and consults with management within the local ABB unit to innovatively shape the design and development of own functional area. - Ensures a closed-loop quality cycle and customer experience feedback to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met. - Performs audits and ensures the use of analytics of Quality data from all parts of the organization to identify risks, failures and non-conformances. - Ensures that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken and solutions are managed to closure. - Assists the organization in achieving desired strategic and operational results through the means of the quality management system. - Leads the development and deployment of local policies, regulations and processes that make up the Quality Management System (QMS).
**Qualifications for the role**:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar.
- 6+ Yrs experience in Quality process and continuous improvement in Electrification Industry.
- Experience leading a team.
- Compliance of standards as ISO9001.
- Experience in internal and external auditing and recertification processes.
- Advanced English
- Experience in Electrical Services MV & LV (Highly preferred)
