TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.

- Performs analysis of customer demand, sales forecasts and historical material usage to develop and execute build to order and build to forecast plans.- Coordinate with cross-functional business teams to develop the best economic strategy for production planning to support customer demand.- Coordinate and work with quality, engineering, and operations to ensure 100% on-time delivery by establishing and monitoring schedule to proactively identify and address any issues.- Coordinate with cross-functional business teams to develop the best economic strategy for production planning to support customer demand.- Develop, implement and manage cross-functional, fully integrated planning process that incorporates make versus buy, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory, material and associated cost elements.- Determines the strategy to cumply with demand STS
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- 5 years of experience in similar positions- Advanced English- Comprehensive supply chain planning experience (Capacity planning, supply planning, master production scheduling, inventory control)- General knowledge of ERP/MRP systems- Proficiency with all MS Office Programs- Strong analytical, detailed oriented, financial, and strategic thinking skills.- Culturally sensitive in operational working environment. Must be able to effectively interact with all levels of staff.- Managing and Measuring Work: Clearly assigns responsibility for tasks and decisions; sets clear objectives and measures; monitors process, progress, and results; designs feedback loops into work.- Building Effective Teams: Blends people into teams when needed; creates strong morale and spirit in his/her team; shares wins and successes; fosters open dialogue; lets people finish and be responsible for their work; defines success in terms of the whole team; creates a feeling of belonging in the team.- APICS CPIM and SIOP Certification is a plus.- Lean Manufacturing (Scheduling techniques, pull, flow) is a plus
