The Lean Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for implementing Lean tools such as 5S, value stream mapping, yield tracking along with supporting quoting for new products, and tracking cost efficiency projects. Main Accountabilities: - Champion value stream mapping activities and support site continuous improvement plan. - Implement standard work and 5-minute Kaizen. - Lead all site 5S activities, including coordinating targeted improvement projects and auditing program. - Lead site efforts to improve/optimize equipment utilization and analyze data to drive operational decisions. - Provide technical support to the engineering team and act as back-up for tube/sheet process engineers as needed. - Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with all applicable procedures, 5S rules, and regulations. - Coordinate cost efficiency projects in collaboration with production and engineering teams, including evaluation and validation of cost savings impact.

Experiência y requisitos
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent. - Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing roles. - Comprehensive understanding of Manufacturing Excellence. - Must have strong organizational and time management skills in order to optimize machine uptime with the ability to handle several competing priorities at one time. - Lean Manufacturing Certifications and Six Sigma Green Belt are desirable. - Strong communication skills
