Nubank has developed a strong Risk structure within the 2nd Line of Defence, which supports and guides the business in delivering on their current objectives. In order to keep strengthening our risk management capabilities, the question was raised as to how we could improve risk management within the 1st Line of Defence, without adding new layers of bureaucracy, and ensure that growth is done in a way where risks are proactively tackled. To protect the company from Process Failures, incorrect Clients Products & Business Practices or Data Leakages, Nubank must keep building on what the 2nd Line of Defence has created, to ensure sound business decisions.
