Are you ready to make a difference in the pharmaceutical industry? As an Application Engineer specializing in SAP PP, you'll be part of a world-leading company headquartered in the United Kingdom, operating across more than 100 countries. Collaborate with a dynamic team of functional consultants to support and maintain SAP landscapes on a global scale. Your expertise in SAP PP and its integration points will be essential in driving efficiency and innovation.

**Accountabilities**

As a Functional Consultant, you will address SAP issues reported by business users and deliver enhancements as required. You'll complete tasks assigned by the team lead and project coordinator, review solutions designed by team members, and propose improvements. Proactively engage with business users to identify and resolve recurring issues. You'll own niche processes within broader domain areas, such as collaborating with third-party systems like MES (PASX, EBR systems, etc.), APS (APO, OMP), and more.

**Essential Skills/Experience**
- In-depth functional understanding for PP and expert knowledge in configuration and maintenance of SAP systems.
- Experience in ECC and S4 systems.
- Functional understanding of PM and/or QM configuration and maintenance of SAP.
- Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences/pharmaceutical domain.
- Ability to understand business requirements from business users and prepare and review functional specifications.
- Exposure is essential to highly customized SAP environments and working on interfaces with Non SAP systems.
- Good understanding of integration of SAP modules in End-to-end business processes.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and Application life cycle management.
- Ability to work in large and diverse teams.
- Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tool.
- Experience of various Estimation Techniques needed.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well versed in English and Spanish. Good spoken and written skills.
- Proactive approach to problem solving.

**Desirable Skills/Experience**
- Exposure to Run SAP (Solution Manager) methodologies.
- Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a validated environment.
