**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain **quality management systems (QMS)** aligned with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant standards.
- Expert in SCRAP reduction,
- Lead **process inspections, final product audits, and root cause analysis (RCA)** for defect resolution.
- Ensure compliance with **customer requirements, industry regulations, and internal quality standards**.
- Implement **Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement** initiatives.
- Conduct **Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)**.
- Drive **cost reduction** and **efficiency improvements** in manufacturing quality processes.
- Collaborate with **suppliers** to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications.
- Manage **customer complaints, non-conformances (NCRs), and corrective actions**.
- Participate in **customer and supplier audits**, ensuring compliance with quality expectations.
- Lead and mentor a **quality assurance team** (inspectors, engineers, and technicians).
- Provide **training** on quality procedures, measurement tools, and best practices.
- Foster a **culture of quality and accountability** across the organization.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in quality management within a metal manufacturing automotive environment.**_
- **Tech Skills**:_
- Strong knowledge of **metal fabrication, stamping, machining, welding, and coating processes**.
- Experience with **ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 (if aerospace), or other relevant quality standards**.
- Proficiency in **root cause analysis tools** (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).
- Familiarity with **GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)**.
- Strong understanding of **PPAP, APQP, and MSA methodologies**.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong **leadership and communication** abilities.
- Ability to **work cross-functionally** with engineering, production, and supply chain teams.
- Analytical mindset with **problem-solving** and decision-making capabilities.
- **Certifications (Preferred but not required)**:

- **Six Sigma Green/Black Belt**:

- **Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) - ASQ**
