Construction Project Management Specialist **Job description**: Formulates, budgets, and executes programs for physical plant development and maintenance that involves aircraft introductions, project engineering, project administration, financial consideration, legal aspects, sort development, corporate identity, and real estate transactions throughout the Latin America & the Caribbean Region. Ensures completion of projects on schedule, within budget, and in line with corporate and industry standards. Finds and secures appropriate facilities for company needs, both on and off airport site. Negotiates lease agreements with landlords as an agent for FedEx. Develops CAPEX proposals in consultation with Finance, Engineering, and Operations, field services, for upper management approval and execution. The Project Management Specialist must function as a focal point in all aspects of construction project management both within FedEx and the international market. **Professional Profile**: Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Architecture, Engineering or Construction with postgraduate studies in Project/Construction/Engineering Management. Five (5) years professional experience encompassing architectural, engineering and construction disciplines in the development and completion of large projects with emphasis on project management/construction management and administration of capital projects. Strong knowledge of international environment including local government and business practices. Strong basic management, corporate finances, human relations and communications skills. Extensive international travel required. Fluency in English and Spanish required.
