ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Manages one or more information systems functions for Manufacturing area.
Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of technical information systems platforms.
Provides overall leadership to the effort required to protect the company’s data, tools and information systems.
Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility,
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Validation of escalated process-system issues and the impact of containment fix and permanent resolution
Coordination of business user testing and code deployment

Participates in Change Review Board (CRB) to review and prioritize business requests enhancements or new features
Participates in project Stage Gate Review Board (SGRB) as needed, depends on scope, duration and cost
Analyze existing process and system related issues and their interdependencies
Recommend containment for critical mission areas and identify permanent actions for complete resolution using 3WI, FMEA, but not limited to these tools
Drive multiple Manufacturing and Supply Chain improvement initiatives
Drives P1 and P2 issues to immediate resolution and engages third party system integrators, if needed, to deep dive on the root causes and resolution impact
Analyze data trends and improvements for MES-Oracle integration (data variance, exception log, error reports)
Provide excellent communications specifically in regard to representing and justifying customers’ requirements to technical team and business users
Liase between manufacturing and supply chain business users
Drive and challenge business requirements on their assumptions of how they will successfully support the business process
Develop requirements specifications, functional and technical specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.
Support any manufacturing and supply chain related projects
Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Company Quality standards, rules and regulations
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT engineering, industrial engineering.
At least 3 years’ experience in using subversion source control
Demonstrated knowledge on software architecture patterns
Demonstrated knowledge on Change Management and Issue Management
Demonstrated expert knowledge in a particular web technology Java, PHP or Python programming language
Demonstrated background knowledge in other software programming languages (HTML, Javascript, JQuery, XML, Visual Basic, VB.NET, Oracle PL/SQL)
Demonstrated expert knowledge in collecting business requirements, analyzing, building, debugging, following code release process and change management process
Demonstrated expert knowledge in Manufacturing Execution systems (BOM, Work Order Management, Product Management, Transaction Management, Packaging, Equipment Maintenance)
Demonstrated expert knowledge in minor MES integration with ERP
Demonstrated ability to write self-documenting software artifacts
Demonstrated expert knowledge in OOP-Object Oriented Programming methodology
Expert knowledge in enterprise data modeling and database optimizations/best practices
Demonstrated advance knowledge in SQL (Oracle and MSSQL server).
5 years’ experience in supporting scalable medium to large scale production environments.
Demonstrated ability to reduce system design debt and code quality debt.
