The Role

We are searching for a talented market planner to ensure our company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will assist in all demand and planning duties including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.

Key Responsibilities

Build the category forecast through the S&OP cycle, identify risk and opportunities to the plan - in volume, value and with a high level of granularity (e.g. channels, initiatives, activations) and recommend actions to close the gap from volume forecasted and any business targets. Provide visibility on past performance supporting assumptions for outlook. In partnership with supply team, support portfolio management opportunities (e.g. ABC & Distribution opportunities, in/out management).
Provide visibility of demand in week/month/Quarter bucket, and mid to long term strategic plan as supply planner to manufacturing, etc. to ensure end to end supply chain planning to support top line sales and business growth. Drive and conduct S&OP meetings to ensure issues/potential risks around DSI (demand, supply and Inventory) are addressed properly and timely. Work very closely with marketing/ trade marketing team on NPI/NPD and promotions plans, build accurate volume projections into forecast. Joint accountability of inventory management, ensure quality of inventory, inventory turns meet defined targets delivering high standard of customer service level. Provide portfolio and trend analysis enabling to mitigate risk or explore opportunities impacting costs or revenues Be a key NPI/NPD project team member or potentially lead/drive NPD/NPI projects to ensure timely launching per defined schedule scope. Provide support in developing seasonal demand forecasts and anticipate customers reactions to the promotions and discounts Develop demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends. Work with customers, sales team and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracy. Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities. Update customers and sales team about product availabilities. Maintain inventory levels based on future customer demands. Assessing the financial structure and inventory storage capabilities of the business. Counting and tracking inventory across multiple locations. Anticipating stock demands based on current and future business functions. Analyzing and anticipating market trends for the best time to purchase inventory. Creating inventory reports and presenting suggestions to the supply chain manager. Suggesting changes to inventory warehousing to meet increased or reduced demand.
Track inventory of raw materials and advise our purchasing team.
Monitor movement of materials through purchasing, storage, production, and retail distribution

Bachelor's degree in business/supply chain/Marketing.
+2 years of experience as Demand Planner, Supply Planner or CPFR Sr.
Results-orientated, creative, practical, analytical, attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team-player.
Demonstrated ability for sound decision making while working under pressure in critical situations.
Working knowledge of SAP ECC, Manugistics, JDA, Microsoft Office.
