We are seeking an **Independent Contractor based in Mexico** to provide **safety and driver recruiting services** for a U.S.based transportation company. This role requires expertise in **driver recruitment, compliance, and safety protocols** to ensure that drivers meet company and industry standards. The contractor will play a key role in identifying qualified drivers and promoting a culture of safety within the fleet.

**Key Responsibilities:Driver Recruiting**:

- Source, screen, and recruit qualified CDL drivers for U.S. transportation operations.
- Conduct initial interviews to assess driver qualifications, experience, and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
- Coordinate with the U.S.based hiring team to facilitate smooth onboarding.

**Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure drivers meet all **safety and compliance requirements** per U.S. DOT/FMCSA regulations.
- Educate and enforce safety protocols among drivers to minimize risks and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Monitor driver records, including license renewals, medical certifications, and training completion.
- Conduct periodic safety audits and provide recommendations for improvement.

**Administrative Support**:

- Maintain accurate records of recruitment and compliance activities.
- Provide reports on hiring progress, driver retention, and safety incidents.
- Assist in implementing safety programs and driver retention strategies.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Proven experience in driver recruiting and/or transportation safety compliance.**:

- **Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations** and best practices.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet recruitment goals.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or transportation management software is a plus.
- Reliable internet connection and access to necessary tools for remote work.
- Potential for long-term collaboration based on results.
