Your team’s work is foundational to Etsy’s dedication to providing world-class customer support and a safe, trusted marketplace for the millions of buyers and sellers in the Etsy community.A s Data Analyst, Trust and Safety Content partnered with Trust & Safety you will work to consistently deliver clear insights while providing access to metrics, data, and tools needed for decision-making and optimization at all levels of the organization. We partner with our peers through all stages of development: identifying initial opportunities, analyzing the impact of our efforts, and highlighting improvement areas. Ultimately, the team’s work strengthens Etsy and helps continuously improve the Etsy experience.**What does the day-to-day look like?**- You will use data analysis to identify potential risks and areas for improvement in trust and safety measures.- You will conduct analysis to fulfill regulatory requirements.- You will fulfill ad hoc Trust and Safety analytics requests from partners.- You will lead analyses to inform internal reporting on Trust and Safety efforts.- Of course, this is just a sample of the kinds of work this role will require You should assume that your role will encompass other tasks, too, and that your job duties and responsibilities may change from time to time at Etsy's discretion, or otherwise applicable with local law.**Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are**:- 2+ years of proven success as a data analyst focused on supporting teams with data access, reporting, and insights.- Successful track record of distilling highly complex problems into narratives that are concise, action focused, and memorable, and express your recommendations with both conviction and finesse.- High proficiency with advanced analytical techniques and SQL.- Ability to communicate insights verbally, visually, and in writing.- A trust in and commitment to Etsy’s vision, mission and values.- An ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment, easily adapting to new platform risks and using data-driven insights to guide decisions in ambiguous situations.- Fluency in both English and Spanish.- A trust in and dedication to Etsy’s vision, mission and values.**Additional Information**What's NextIf you're interested in joining the team at Etsy, please share your resume with us and feel free to include a cover letter if you'd like.
