Lead Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a skilled **Lead Machine Learning Engineer** to guide the creation of advanced machine learning solutions designed to address intricate business challenges.

In this position, you will play a key role in shaping AI/ML strategies, building robust systems, and coaching teammates, all while driving meaningful innovation aligned with our organizational goals.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide leadership for technical projects, aligning business needs with actionable objectives for the team
- Define and execute the complete lifecycle of machine learning models to achieve product and Recommender System objectives
- Design and deploy AI-driven solutions integrated with efficient control mechanisms
- Take charge of Proof of Concepts and sophisticated AI/ML solution development to support future product innovation
- Deliver AI/ML solutions incorporating innovative technologies with mínimal guidance
- Mentor team members to enhance knowledge sharing and collaborative efforts
- Guide strategic decisions by simplifying complex technical concepts through effective communication
- Document system designs and model implementations to maintain cross-functional alignment
- Conduct systems assessments to identify opportunities, improve efficiency, and propose policy updates

**Requirements**:

- Over 5 years of experience with machine learning, especially in Recommender Systems
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data modeling, with familiarity with DBT as an added advantage
- At least 3 years working with cloud technologies such as AWS and AWS SageMaker
- Strong background in data processing, ML infrastructure, and DevOps/MLOps
- Competency in Spark, Airflow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, and Keras
- Demonstrated success leading engineering teams or collaborating across functions
- Creative problem-solving skills supported by evidence of delivering impactful technical outcomes

**Nice to have**
- Expertise in Apache Airflow for managing workflows
- Familiarity with Pandas and PyTorch frameworks
- Proficiency in Scikit-Learn for developing machine learning models
