**Descripción y detalle de las actividades**
- The Commodity Manager drives global alignment on purchased components and coordinates internally and externally across multiple disciplines and with suppliers. As a Commodity Manager, you will set the strategic direction for a select commodity group, balancing risk, cost, lead time, and other factors. You will work alongside other commodity managers, engineers, and company leadership to execute key initiatives, drive cost reductions, and meet business objectives.
**Experiência y requisitos**
- 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry BS/BA or Advanced Degree in Engineering or Business. General knowledge of multiple commodities (preferably electronics, pcbs’s, electro)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation ability
- Negotiation experience
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and other technical documentation
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Ability to lead and work within teams in a matrixed environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
