Responsible for the correct and timely calculation of the payroll for the payment of salaries, wages, benefits and severance pay to associates, as well as, timely determining the amounts to be paid for the taxes that are derived, generating the corresponding reports, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE

The person requires experience in: Office software package, experience in Payroll Software Management. Must have knowledge of payroll calculations that regulate the payment of associates. Be organized and have administrative skills. Correct verbal and written communication with department heads. Must have mathematical skills and ability to analyze the accounting for the records of wage payments at the end of the month. Correct control of the calculations and policies that correspond to payroll, settlement, FONACOT, Infonavit, etc. Knowledge of LFT, LISR, LINFONAVIT, LIMSS, ISN. 2 years’ experience doing payroll.

Objectives:

- Receive, review, capture and calculate, through the corresponding system, the payroll for the respective period based on the information on staff attendance lists and cards, as well as movements, such as registrations, dismissals, vacations, permits, increases of salary, etc, provided by Human Resources, clarifying any discrepancies.
- Keep control of accumulated and vacation balances and savings fund
- Make deductions from the salary of employees for different concepts, such as loans, responsibilities, adjustments, food quota, etc.
- Review and balance the payroll variables (Bonus, Sales Commissions, etc.)
- Request the bank transfer of the payroll with the corresponding amount for each of the associates included in it.
- Request the transfer of Food Vouchers
- Request alimony payment
- Timely and accurately determine the amounts to be paid for applicable taxes in the locality, according to the established schedule, preparing the calculations for the corresponding tax returns and reports.
- Timely and accurately determine the amounts to be paid for contributions to social security institutions, housing, et., in accordance with the established schedule, preparing the corresponding reports.
- Verify that the payroll is invoiced correctly, as well as sending the associates their payroll receipt (electronic file)
- Maintain an updated file with all the necessary documentation for control, audit, clarification purposes, etc.
- Give personal attention to associates and resolve doubts about payroll, taxes and withholdings.
