**Senior Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)**
**Overview**
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced **Senior Production Supervisor**to join our team and lead our molding and assembly operations on the **2nd shift in the automotive sector**. In this role, you will contribute to achieving operational excellence by ensuring high-quality production outputs while maintaining safety, efficiency, and employee engagement.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead, manage, and mentor second-shift production teams in molding and assembly processes within the automotive industry.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production operations during the 2nd shift to achieve efficiency, safety, and quality goals.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, efficiency, and defect rates on the 2nd shift.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to streamline production processes.
- Conduct regular second-shift team meetings to foster open communication, address challenges, and ensure alignment on objectives.
- Enforce safety standards and protocols during the 2nd shift, ensuring a safe and inclusive workplace for all.
- Analyze workflows and implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity.
- Act as a liaison between upper management and 2nd shift production teams, providing updates on team performance and challenges.
- Proactively identify and resolve production issues during the 2nd shift to prevent downtime and delays.
- Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring all team members have equal access to opportunities and resources for growth.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in production operations, **preferably in automotive molding and assembly.**:
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to inspire and guide diverse 2nd shift teams.
- **Proficiency in English**(written and verbal) to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with molding and assembly processes in automotive manufacturing.
- Solid understanding of production metrics, lean manufacturing practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in manufacturing environments.
- High level of organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
**Work schedule**
**Monday to thursday: 7pm to 4am**
**Friday: 3pm a 9pm**
