Head of Regional Operations Center

Your tasks
- Organization:

- Lead and develop the Regional Operations organization, initiating and monitoring development measures
- Conduct hiring, capabilities and performance evaluations as well as disciplinary measures together with HR
- Adaptation, implementation and/or further development of efficient forms of organization, processes and procedures following the preferred Purchasing Transformation layout, including the relevant management reporting, aiming at optimization of productivity, leveraging potentials, meeting safety and operational requirements
- Promote alignment an interaction between the different organizational groups of Operations, Sourcing, Category Management and internal customers.
- Acts as leader of the Mexico HUB of the solid and dotted lines reports.
- Process:

- Ensure and coordinate timely placement of PO's and follow up to ensure supply chain without interruption for operational needs
- Ensure proper procedure per country/location for PO placement
- Manage order acknowledgment for all supported ordering processes, handle new parts setups for coded materials through optimized sources and conditions, as well as vendor master requests; resolve AP issues through preferred tools
- Define and initiate eCatalog implementation and maintenance, as well as other measurements to reduce administrative workload within the regional organization
- Compile, prepare, present and endorse information related to ordering issues, making this information available to committees, so that facts and figures are made transparent and network partners are informed in full.
- Own all operational processes supported by the Regional Operations Center
- Support during escalations from Operational Buyers as well as escalations related to HUB buyers from Tactital, Regional or Global Sourcing.
- Objectives and Budget Management:

- Planning, monitoring, and reporting on overall objectives, implementing overall and divisional-specific targets.
- Define and introduce (corrective) measures for achieving these targets to make results transparent and to control procurement activities in a result-oriented manner.
- Derivation of team/individual objectives (budget, target/actual) from group objectives under the anticipated market situations
- Savings:

- Initiate and expedite specific cost reduction initiatives by pooling and identifying leverage opportunities within defined regional value thresholds.

- This position is reporting Functionally to WW Operations Head & Disciplinary to NPM Regional Head

**Profile**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or comparable qualification
- Advanced English
- Experience:

- In Purchasing
- In leading (functional) teams
- In project management and process, systems & tools implementation
- Worked in international teams and an international environment
- Knowledge:

- Legal know-how (purchasing, supply chain)
- Automation, RPA
